- Fall Meeting: 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 9, at Broomfield Public Library
Owls are some of Colorado’s most mysterious predators. Natalie Vande Vuss,
a 2019-2020 graduate of the Audubon Master Birder program, will share info
about these nocturnal hunters at our fall meeting. Whether you like your
owls great-horned, barred, burrowing, or long-eared, you’re sure to learn
more at this in-person event.
Registration is not required; members and prospective members are welcome. The library, at 3 Community Park Road, is fully accessible. Light refreshments will be served. Please plan to join us!
Volunteer with BOSAN
Planting native species and caring for open spaces is one of the best ways to restore/maintain habitats that support wild birds. The Broomfield Open Space Action Network (BOSAN) welcomes volunteers to help plant native species, remove noxious weeds, and harvest seeds at Broomfield Commons Open Space. BOSAN also hosts BioBlitz events to investigate and record the many living things at Broomfield Commons and The Field. All events are FREE and open to all ages; registration is requested. Learn more about BOSAN events and register here.
